FAQs

  • The initial evaluation will take place in a private setting between you and your provider, typically 60-75+ minute duration. This one-on-one time will provide a unique opportunity to voice your concerns, understand your past medical history and discuss your goals for treatment. After our initial conversation, we will screen for orthopedic and biomechanical factors contributing to your symptoms including posture, strength, balance and a functional movement screen. If necessary and with your complete consent, there may be an internal pelvic evaluation to determine any drivers of pelvic pain, weakness, or incoordination of the muscles causing imbalances in your pelvic floor. However, if you would like to refrain from internal work, there are still several options to improve your condition. At the end of the evaluation, we will discuss your plan of care and determine together a treatment plan that works for you to reach your goals.
