Rachel Sandhu, Doctor of Physical Therapy

Welcome! I’m passionate about empowering individuals to recover from orthopedic and pelvic health conditions. I’ve been a board certified Doctor of Physical Therapy for over 14 years and specialize in pelvic floor and orthopedic health offering manual, hands-on mobilization techniques that treat the whole person.   I want to treat every client like an individual, because biomechanics, habits, posture, age, level of function vary among us all. My goal is to offer an experience in therapy where you feel supported in your recovery and understood in your condition with a holistic evaluation, discover contributing factors for ongoing pain and dysfunction and give you a game plan to get you back to the activities you love! In addition to my commitment as a physical therapist, my husband and I have three kids and live on Capitol Hill. We spend our time chasing our kids around the parks in DC and are involved with many of the local schools and neighborhood activities. We’ve lived in DC for almost 20 years and love building into our neighborhood and offering closer access for physical therapy!
